The day after our little adventure in the snow, we took a few minutes and let Aynsli go out and play in the snow. We had been telling her all winter we'd let her do it, but for one reason or another never had.
Besides, we needed to get some use out of the snow boots and snow pants we had bought her. Her snow boots are about a size and a half too big, her snow pants, although a 3T will last her at least through next season, if not beyond, and her coat, believe it or not, is a size 18 months. This will be the last year she gets any use out of it, but it still fits, and is the only "water repellent" type coat she has.
She and dad played in the snow, and mom took pictures. After a rather snowy season, that is not over yet, she had plenty of snow to play in, which was great considering the miniscule size of our front yard. Both had a good time, and Aynsli finally had to be convinced to come in, she was enjoying herself so much.
