HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
This is the first year that we have had Wesley with us for Halloween. It is also the first year that Aynsli has really had any idea of what is going on.
We carved pumpkins, and each one got to design their own, but somehow, Mom ended up doing most of the cleaning out and carving. Even Dad did a pumpkin, and said it was the best one he had ever done.
Aynsli did one with triangle eyes and a heart mouth. Chris' pumpkin is the big one in the middle with the "C" nose. Wesley designed his own, a little less conventional than the rest, with only one ear, but really cute.
The kids dressed up in their costumes, Aynsli a pink Princess, and Wesley a Jail Bird, and Dad took them trick or treating around our new neighborhood. They had lots of fun, and got way too much candy. Aynsli has asked almost everyday since to go trick or treating!
